2bU | Inquirer Lifestyle
It was late night when I heard the news from my friend who is a writer that my work would be published today (June 1, 2012) for The Philippine Daily Inquirer's 2bU section under Lifestyle. I had doubts that this article would be printed so, I'm just really happy and thankful about how things turned out with my story about this little bracelet. Truly good things happen when you least expect it.

GIVE RICE A TRY.
Some extra rice for your skin? No, I'm not talking about slathering smashed rice all over your face and body, it's something processed and placed in a bottle. It's not new to the market though, I know some of you are aware too that a number of skin improving products use rice as a part of their ingredients.
When I'm planning to switch on a certain brand, I like to research and read reviews about a particular product so I would be able to see what path I'm supposed to take. I had a particular brand in mind for a toner but since the L'Occitane shop was on my way, I decided to go and look. My facial skin is not that refined, so as I entered the store, I decided to ask for a clarifying toner. *By the way, it's important to identify and be able to know what skin type you have so you can ask the attendee what kind of product she/he can recommend you. As for me, I have a combination type of skin, which is oily on the T-Zone and dry on the cheek and jaw area.* This toner is perfect for combination to oily type of skin. So yeah, my planned purchase failed and once again impulse buying succeeded.
I've been using this toner for about 2 and a half months already and I can say that it lives up to it's promise. My skin has improved, it's less oily and it's brighter plus it's clearer. Though occasional pimples still occur, the toner helps to make the pimple mark fade away faster. I'm just glad that even though it was a spur of the moment purchase, I feel like I didn't made a mistake with this product. The toner is a bit pricey but it's result is worth it.
My verdict, 9 out of 10.
*I love how L'Occitane allows the product to reach out for people who have impaired visions too, if you'd look closely on my third photo, there's braille on the back of the product. Thumbs up L'occitane!

THE CROCODILE YARD.
Gray Polo Shirt from Topman and Olive Suede Skinny Carrot Pants
D.I.Y Nut Bracelet in red.
Crocodile skin shoes from Zara.
It was another Sunday morning when I think I disappointed myself again; But no, it does not involve any romantic schemes that everyone seems to be playing right now but it's about love, love for shopping. I must admit, I'm an impulse buyer *you know when you don't plan to buy anything at all but you come home keeping your paper bags out of sight for you might get scolded for spending too much for these kind of stuff? yeah that's it.
I am a bad shopper. Spur of the moment buying has not served me justice especially with the shoes and the top that I bought this day. I am not saying that I don't like the things that I'm wearing above, I just think I should have gone for something more casual, something that I could wear everyday. I'm talking about the shoes. It's kind of pricey and I think with how our economy is now doing, I don't think it's practical to buy something which you can only wear sometimes. (Well, it's a 4 month old shoes and I've worn it for like 3 times? These pictures were taken 4 months ago and this is a super late post. I know, I am sorry. I have reasons, just tell me if you wanna hear it.) I know it's a "piece" but I think my style has changed without me noticing it as time passed by. Nowadays I like wearing something laid-back, something very comfortable. Yes, I'm still on the preppy side but I'm almost out the neighborhood. Sometime's I only wear semi-formal clothing because I need to and I always come home running just to get it off me. Back to my bad shopping skills, yeah I'm almost regretful of getting this pair but since my cousins like it, I decided to keep it and maybe it would be a lot useful in some future time. *crossed fingers* *I don't like the top so mush as well, it's quite long for a medium sized polo and it's saggy. Wait, was I complaining too much? LOL
What kind of a shopper are you? Let me know if you have time.
Hype the whole look here.
